August 23, 2022 (UNITED NATIONS) – The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) told the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday that Sudan’s cooperation with the war crimes tribunal has taken a backward step in recent months. Karim Khan briefed the Security Council via videoconference from Khartoum about his fresh visits to three camps in the Darfur region including the Kalma, Hasahisa and Hamidiya displacement camps.
