The FREE Summer Concert Series continues this Saturday, July 30th on the lawn of the Historic Courthouse. Sam Mullins will open the concert at 6 p.m. The Ransom Notes will play at 7 p.m. The American Legion Post 57 and Smith County Chamber of Commerce co-host the event and Rokabilly Coffee is the business sponsor. The event will also coincide with the Back to School Bash hosted by the Smith County Events Committee which will feature a backpack and school supplies give-away along with several kids activities, yard games, popcorn and cotton candy. It will be a fun evening for the whole family. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to enjoy the concert.
