After all, why should “everybody in Mendocino County pay an extra sales tax to bail them out”. Good point. Since agriculture is one of the main economic engines of the county, and all the businesses and jobs created by this activity generate millions of dollars in tax revenue that deposits directly into the coffers of the county, why should all that money derived from these activities enabled by that “cheap” water be spent on everybody in Mendocino County?
