June 12, 2022 (PRETORIA) – South Africa’s former head of the State Security Agency’s (SSA) domestic intelligence service, Mahlodi Sam Muofhe, has been appointed as the country’s new ambassador to South Sudan. Muofhe, a lawyer, said he looks forward to the new chapter in his life. “Hopefully I can do something to ensure good relations between our country and South Sudan,” he told News24.
