Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, reaffirmed his country’s stance in support of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, saying that Russian forces are there in Syria upon a request from its legitimate government. “The Russian forces exist in Syria in a state of full compliance to the UN principles and charter and they perform duties outlined in resolution 2254,” Lavrov told RT in an interview on Thursday.
