A Ukiah couple was killed Friday in a suspected murder/suicide shooting, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to a residence in the 4900 block of Burke Hill Road in Ukiah around 9:25 p.m. May 20 for a report of a “possible murder/suicide involving a firearm.” When deputies arrived, assisted by personnel from the California Highway Patrol and local ambulances, they contacted the son of the deceased victim, 56-year-old Suzanne Stark, and the deceased suspect, 57-year-old Shawn M.
