American Legion Raffle sales begin Saturday, May 21st ...United Arab Emirates

Saturday, May 21st the American Post 57 will host be hosting a BBQ and kick off ticket sales this year’s Raffle.  This year there will be 3 weapons.  A Par-A-Ordnance M1911 45 Cal Pistol, a Winchester 12 gauge Pump Shotgun, and a Multi AR-15 .223 Cal rifle with scope.  Tickets go on sell Saturday morning at 9am in front of the Courthouse on the square in Carthage.  Ticket price for each weapon is $5.00.  The BBQ starts starts at 12 p.m. Local Bands will start their performance at 6 p.m. See the May 11th post of the Smith County Insider for more information.
