Members of Pakistani community organised a colourful event to mark Pakistan Day at Ezdan Hotel Towers. Pakistan embassy’s Community Welfare Attaché Waheedullah Khan attended the event as the chief guest while embassy’s Political Counsellor Ali Ahsan was the guest of honour. The event titled ‘Yaum-e-Pakistan; Azam-e-Alishan’ commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran by Raja Farhan. Asfandiar Ansari presented translation of the verses. Mohammad Idrees presented a naat (poetry in praise of Prophet Mohammad PBUH). National anthems of Qatar and Pakistan were played on the occasion.
