The First Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Gordonsville Events Committee was a big success. Approximately 120 children and their families braved the chilly weather on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Thousands of eggs were spread across the lawn at Ivy Agee Park in Gordonsville for three age groups from toddlers – 12 years old. Each child left with a prepared bag of candy and chocolate bunny. Some eggs were filled with candy, toys and prizes. Some prize eggs were turned in for prepared Easter Baskets and gift cards. Over $300 in gift cards and prizes were awarded.
