A Lake County man was killed and two Mendocino County residents were injured Wednesday in a crash on Highway 20, the California Highway Patrol reported Thursday. According to the CHP, a 38-year-old Ukiah woman was driving a 2004 Acura TSX westbound on Highway 20 when, around 3:10 p.m., the vehicle “crossed over the yellow lines into oncoming traffic” east of Scotts Valley Road. The Acura collided head-on with a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by a 48-year-old Lakeport man, who sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
