On Saturday, March 26, 2022, members of the Southside Lions Club of Gordonsville met at Ivy Agee Park to plant two new trees.  When a Lions Club member passes away, the club plants a tree in memory of them and their service to the community. Each tree is accompanied by a stone marker in the ground with the deceased members name and the date the tree was planted engraved on it. The two trees planted on Saturday were in memory of Mrs. Martha Geldreich and Mr. James Robert Bass.  The Southside Lions Club has been actively serving the Gordonsville community and surrounding area since 1963.
